Cosmopolitan agricultural herbivorous pests are provided with a wide range of potential hosts. Therefore, they have high carrying capacity, and can cause extremely severe damage in agroecosystems. Understanding the ecological mechanisms their population dynamics, especially as relate to large-scale meteorological variations geographical landscape influences, help us reveal how became such important pests. The oriental fruit moth, Grapholita molesta, is typical example significant pest distributed on large scale, which capable damaging trees economic value peach, apple, pear, etc. This not only occurs China, but exists all continents except Antarctica. In order prevent major diseases, system plant protection has been established gradually peach orchards within Modern Agro-industry Technology Research System China (CARS) since 2009. system, we collected monitoring data G. molesta by using pheromone traps at 17 experimental stations, then used corresponding climate (temperature precipitation) explore link between factors mixed models. results show that both monthly mean temperature precipitation had positive correlation occurrence molesta. global warming higher levels may favor allowing it outperform other level orchards, scale.
